Abstract
In this study, pure and doped ZnS nanocrystals have been synthesized by precipitation method at room temperature. Structural optical and morphological properties of synthesized nanocrystals have been investigated. The different crystalline sizes have been observed by this route. The structural and morphological properties of the samples observed by XRD, TEM show the formation of ZnS nanocrystals. The change in band gap of nanocrystalline pure and doped ZnS was studied by UV-visible spectroscopy.
