Abstract

Comb-shaped thermosensitive polymers have been synthesized on macroinitiators of sulfochloride type via cationic polymerization of 2-ethyl-2-oxazoline. It has been proved that, on sulfochloride macroinitiators, the polymerization proceeds in the “living” chain mode and allows one to obtain polymers with a narrow molecular mass distribution, in particular, without the intermediate isolation of the macroinitiator.
