Abstract
Design of new hierarchical porous adsorbent is an effective method for CO2 capture. Herein, PI/ZIF-8 aerogels were synthesized by an impregnation method. The PI/ZIF-8 aerogel is a promising CO2 adsorbent with the advantages of both PI aerogel and ZIF-8. The high CO2 capture performance of PIZ10 aerogel is attributed to the synergistic effect of PI and ZIF-8. More importantly, the PIZ10 aerogel shows high stability for CO2 capture, which is important for the practical application.
