Abstract

Hyper-crosslinked polymers (HCPs) with high specific surface areas and porous structural characteristics serving as adsorbents are currently a hot research topic. In this paper, a series of one-step 3D structured phenyl-based hyper-crosslinked porous polymers via Friedel-Crafts reaction namely POP-TB with different feeding ratios were successfully synthesized. POP-TB exhibits excellent adsorption performance towards four organic dyes including Rhodamine B, Acid green, Reactive blue, Crystal violet and the maximum adsorption capacity (qm) are 1065, 2542, 1900 and 1270 mg g−1, respectively, surpassing most of the adsorbents in previous reports.
