Abstract
Salicylaldimine Schiff bases containing oxa-crown ether (HL 1 , HL 2 , HL 3 , HL 4 and H 2 L 5 ) were synthesized via condensation of (15-crown-5) salicylaldehyde with amino-compound and characterized by 1 H NMR, IR, MS spectroscopy and elemental analysis. The crystal structures of HL 2 were determined from X-ray diffraction data.
