Synthesis of Novel Alkylamino Substituted cis and trans Apovincamate Derivatives

Abstract

Aim To synthesize series of novel alkylamino substituted cis and trans apovincamate derivatives for further structure activity relationship study. Method Starting from cis and trans apovincamate acid, the targeted products were obtained through facile three-step synthesis with moderate yield. Results Twenty four novel alkylamino substituted cis and trans apovincamate derivatives were synthesized for further biological evaluation. Conclusion An efficient method to prepare novel alkylamino substituted cis and trans apovincamate derivatives is developed.
