Abstract

Dehydrofluorination of bis(1,1-dihydropolyfluoroalkyl) sulfides with lithium hydroxide in morpholine occurs in a controlled manner with the formation of a new type of bis(enamine) sulfides, bis[2-(morpholin-4-yl)polyfluoroalk-1-en-1-yl]sulfanes, hydrolysis and subsequent fluorination of which leads to the production of novel fluorine-containing 1,4-oxathiine derivatives with divalent sulfur.
