Abstract

The technology of synthesis of layered fractured materials with a regular internal structure for physical modeling of geomechanical processes, including hydraulic fracturing of rocks, is considered. The formation of a system of cracks is achieved by layer-by-layer pouring and applying a hydrophobic aerosol coating to the surface of each layer through a specially shaped stencil. The results of uniaxial and volumetric mechanical tests of samples of synthesized materials are presented, their strength and elastic properties have been determined. Filtration tests were carried out along and across the bedding under conditions of hydrostatic compression. According to the test results, the values of the anisotropy coefficients of elasticity and permeability of the samples manufactured using the proposed technology were calculated. The properties of the synthesized material are shown to correspond to layered rocks.
