Abstract

We synthesized magnetic molecular imprinted polymers (MMIPs) for the recognition of ciprofloxacin (CIP) by metal-coordinate interaction. The structure and morphology of MMIPs were characterized by TEM, SQUID, FT-IR, and TG/DSC. We determined the adsorption capacity and selectivity of MMIPs using the equilibrium adsorption experiments. Our data indicate that the maximum adsorption capacity of MMIPs for CIP by metal-coordinate interaction was 33.58 mg/g. Furthermore, the imprinting factor and separation factor of MMIPs for CIP were investigated in details.
