Abstract

2,2-Diallyl-1,1,3,3-tetraethylguanidinium chloride copolymers with N-substituted maleimides have been prepared by free radical copolymerization. Specific surface area and porosity of the copolymers under investigation have been determined by using the low-temperature adsorption method. Sorption capacity of the copolymers toward Re(VII), Mo(VI), Ni(II) and Cu(II) ions has been investigated. The influence of treatment time, temperature and pH on sorption of metal ions was studied.
