Abstract
This study reports a solution-processable strategy to interdigital electrodes (IDEs), via integrating synthesis of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs), interfacial self-assembly, and plasma welding. Particularly, we found that the usual plasma cleaning process can effectively weld AuNPs, making the self-assembled, patterned AuNP film form a highly interconnected, porous IDEs composed of hyperboloid ligaments. With high conductivity and abundant active sites, the IDEs can serve as glucose sensor (detection limit, 493 μM) and also electrodes in perovskite photodetector (responsivity, 1.60 mA/W; raise/decay time, 0.544/0.866 s). These results offer a new pathway to broaden the applications of diverse self-assembled nanofilms.
