Abstract
The synthesis of GA 34-β- d-glucopyranosyl ester and of GA 34 -2-O-β- d-glucopyranoside starting from GA 34-16-norketone methyl ester are described. The structures of the synthesized compounds were confirmed by NMR and by electrospray ionization-mass spectrometry.
