Abstract
Synthesis of a variety of furanone derivatives is described using multicomponent reaction of 15‐nonacosanole extracted from Fumaria officinalis, electron‐deficient acetylenic compounds, and epoxides in the presence of catalytic amount of nano KF/Clinoptilolite. Aerial parts of F. officinalis were collected from Alborz Mountains (north of Iran) in September 2014. Voucher specimens (2625T) were deposited in the chemistry department of Qaemshahr University in Mazandaran‐Iran.
