Abstract

Dyes are foremost category of pollutants and can even identify by naked eyes. Discarding of dyes in the waste water cause serious health threat to the living organisms. There are many process are used for the breakdown of the dye molecules to become them non-toxic dyes but adsorption is noticeable process for the removal of dyes. Due to its all-inclusive nature, modesty and simplicity of operation. Area of this research is based on the modification of Fe2O3 by grapheneoxide, their characterization by FE-SEM, XRD and FTIR. The photocatalytic activity of nano-composite was investigated for Congo red dye degradation by UV- visible Spectrophotometer and found that as prepared nanocomposite has much better degradation activity. Hence, as prepared nanocomposite will be a good Photocatalyst for the purpose of clean and safe environment related to dye degradations.
