Abstract
MgCl 2 -supported Cr(aca) 3 catalyst combined with diethylaluminium chloride (DEAC) was applied to the copolymerization of ethylene and propylene in the presence and absence of ethylbenzoate (EB) as external donor. The productivity was strongly dependent on the isospecificity and Cr content of the catalyst. 13 C NMR and GPC analyses of the resulting copolymers showed that random copolymers were synthesised with narrow molar mass distribution and the enantioselectivity of the catalyst was retained even in the copolymerization
