Abstract
Abstract We have synthesized a series of non-glycosidically linked di- and trisaccharide monoethers of the type (3-5)-d-xylan, by a one-pot reaction between the alcohol ROH and 3,5-anhydro-l,2-O-isopropylidene-α-d-xylofuranose, in the presence of KOH and toluene-DMSO at 80 °C.
