Abstract
We have explored the synthesis and functionalization of carbazole-based porphyrins and BODIPYs showing NIR absorption and solid-state fluorescence, respectively. Here, we synthesized chiral carbazole-based porphyrins and BODIPYs. The former showed Cotton effect in the NIR region, while the latter showed CPL both in solution and in the solid state. In this presentation, chiroptical properties of these chiral dyes are reported.
