Abstract

Lithium-ion conducting nanocomposite solid electrolytes were synthesized from polyethylene oxide (PEO), poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA), LiClO₄, and Li1.3Al0.3Ti1.7(PO4)₃ (LATP) ceramic particles. The synthesized nanocomposite electrolyte consisted of LATP particles and an amorphous polymer. LATP particles were homogeneously distributed in the polymer matrix. The nanocomposite electrolytes were flexible and self-standing. The lithium-ion conductivity of the nanocomposite electrolyte was almost an order of magnitude higher than that of the PEO/PMMA solid polymer electrolyte.
