Abstract

We report on the synthesis of new type of carbon nanostructure filled with metal structure which is austenitic stainless alloy with separation of phase by liquid and solid interfacial arc discharge method. The transmission electron microscopy and nano-beam electron diffraction and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy reveal that the structure of the synthesized carbon nanostructure possessed 3 phases which indicate that single-crystal of Fe2-xCrxO3 at tip part, multi-crystal of Fe2-xCrxO3 at middle part and single-crystal of Fe1-xCrx at root part.
