Abstract
Calcium phosphate (CP) microcapsules with a typical diameter of 5–10 μm were fabricated via a biomimetic mineralization process with yeast cells (YCs) as a template core modified with the self-assembling of poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride) and poly(acrylic acid), followed by removal of the biotemplate with calcinations to obtain porous microcapsules.
