Abstract
AbstractSynthesis of alkyl aryl ethers via copper‐catalyzed etherizations of electron‐deficient aryl fluorides with quaternary ammonium bromides and water has been developed. In the presence of Cu(OAc)2, POPh3 (L4) and Cs2CO3, a variety of electron‐deficient aryl fluorides underwent the reaction with quaternary ammonium bromides and H2O in moderate to good yields. The mechanism was also discussed.
