Abstract

In this work we present the application of hydrothermal method for synthesis of vanadium, titanium and mixed vanadium-titanium phosphate catalysts and the results of their testing in aldol condensation reaction of acetic acid with formaldehyde to acrylic acid. It was found that porous structure of phosphate catalysts has predominant effect on their catalytic performance in aldol condensation reaction.
