Abstract
Abstract Methyl N-[(1S)-(1,2,4/3,5,6)-2,3,4,6-tetrahydroxy-5-(hydroxymethyl)cyclohexyl]-4-amino-4,6-dideoxy-α-d-glucopyranoside, a common structural unit of the antibiotic oligostatins, has been synthesized and characterized as the heptaacetate.
