Abstract
A novel method for the synthesis of 5-substituted 1<i>H</i>-tetrazoles using diphenyl phosphorazidate (DPPA) has been developed. Aromatic and aliphatic aldoximes underwent cycloaddition to afford the corresponding 5-substituted 1<i>H</i>-tetrazoles with ease and efficiency.
