Abstract
The interaction of 2-amino-1,3,4-oxadiazole-5-carboxamidoxime with nitriles in the presence of ZnCl2 and HCl or with trichloroacetic anhydride affords 2-amino-5-(5R-1,2,4-oxadiazolyl-3)-1,3,4-oxadiazoles. Their reactions with N-nucleophiles have been studied.
