Abstract
Hitherto unknown 6-aryl-6H-2,2a1,6-triazaaceanthrylenes were prepared from readily available 5-bromo-3-iodoimidazo[1,2–a]pyridine by chemoselective Suzuki-Miyaura reaction with 2-bromophenylboronic acid and subsequent two-fold Buchwald-Hartwig reaction. 2009 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
