Abstract
A new synthesis of α-aminoalkylphosphonates from vinylphosphonates is described. The synthetic method involves the aziridination of vinylphosphonates using PhI=NTs in the presence of copper catalyst. Aziridinylphosphonates thus obtained furnish the corresponding α-amino-alkylphosphonates in good overall yields after catalytic hydrogenation.
