Abstract

The aim of this research is to synthesize different nano sizes of cerium oxide by using different concentrations of precursors. The sol–gel method was used to synthesis CeO2 nanoparticles calcined at 400° C. The products obtained by used different concentrations of precursor (Ce(NO3)3·6H2O placed in deionized water) are range from 13.5 to 14.6 nm in diameter. With band gap from 3.2 to 3.4 e.V, nanoparticles were characterized by using .XRD, UV–vis, SEM, TEM and FTIR, this method has good Characteristic such as, It easy to use and low cost material.
