Abstract

The crystal structure and the magnetic properties of the compound [Cu(μ-oxalato-O,O‘)(H2O)(4-aminopyridine)2]n, the first transition metal extended structure that exhibits a bridging oxalate anion in a 1,1‘-cis-bidentate coordination mode, are reported.
