Abstract

ABSTRACTThe new compound based on molybdoarsenate:(HBiz)4[(ZnO6)(As3O3)2Mo6O18] (1) has been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, X-ray powder diffraction, and thermogravimetric analysis. Compound 1 consists of the [(ZnO6)(As3O3)2Mo6O18]4− polyoxoanions and the protonated organic ligands' biz. The biz organic ligands are free in the external [(ZnO6)(As3O3)2Mo6O18]4− cluster. In addition, the anticancer effect of the title compound 1 was studied on three human gastric cancer cells (BGC823, MGC803, and SGC7901). The results showed that compared with the positive reference drug carboplatin, compound 1 displayed an efficient anticancer activity.
