Abstract
A series of alkynylgold(I) bis(diphenylphosphino)alkyl- and aryl-amine complexes, [{Ph 2PN(R)PPh 2}Au 2(C CR′) 2] [R = n Pr, R′ = Ph ( 1), C 6H 4OMe- p ( 2), C 6H 4Me- p ( 3), C 6H 4Cl- p ( 4); R = C 6H 4OMe- p, R′ = Ph ( 5)], has been synthesized. The X-ray crystal structures of 1 and 2 revealed the presence of short intramolecular Au⋯Au contacts with the distances of 2.8404(8) and 3.0708(7) Å. The luminescence behavior of the complexes were studied.
