Abstract
(C5Me5)Ru(μ-H)3MH3(C5Me5) (4, M = Mo; 5, M = W), the first heterobimetallic polyhydride complexes containing ruthenium and group VI metals, were synthesized, and those structures were determined by X-ray studies. The reactions of 4 and 5 with phosphines, amine, and acetylacetone were examined.
