Abstract
The reaction of 4-CH 3 C 6 H 4 C[N(SiMe 3 ) 2 ](NPPh 2 )with [Pt(PEt 3 )Cl 2 ] 2 or [Rh(cod)Cl] 2 in a 2:1 molar ratro in THF produces the monodentate complexes trans-Pt(PEt 3 )[PPh 2 NC(4-CH 3 C 6 H 4 )N(SiMe 3 ) 2 ]Cl 2 (4a) and Rh(cod) [PPh 2 NC(4-CH 3 C 6 H 4 )N(SiMe 3 ) 2 ]Cl 2 (4b), which were characterized by 1 H and 31 P NMR spectroscopy
