Abstract
New Eu(III) and Tb(III) hybrid materials based on N-((1-methyl-3-(pyridin-2-yl)-1H-1,2,4-triazol-5-yl)methyl)methacrylamide were synthesized and characterized as potential fluorescent emitters. Complexes of Eu(III) and Tb(III) demonstrate red and green luminescence in the visible region, respectively. The intense broad bands in the region of 270–290 nm are related to electronic transitions within pyridine-triazole-containing fragment coordinated to Ln(III) ion.
