Abstract

A new crystalline inicroporous vanadium silicate with ZSM-48 structure has been synthesized. On the basis of physico-chemical characterization, it is shown that vanadium atoms can be incorporated into the lattice and that the maximum incorporation that can be achieved following the synthesis method is about 0.8 V/u.c. These materials have interesting catalytic properties in oxidation reactions involving peroxides at low temperatures.
