Abstract

ABSTRACTA triblock copolymer consists of sulfanilic acid, tetrahydrofuran and ε‐caprolactone was synthesized and characterized by various analytical techniques such as Fourier transform Infrared spectroscopy, UV–vis spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, differential scanning calorimetry, field emission scanning electron microscopy, gel permeation chromatography and conductivity measurements. The percent relative humidity (RH) of poly(sulfanilic acid) (PSA; P1), poly(sulfanilic acid)‐g‐poly(tetrahydrofuran) (PSA‐g‐PTHF; P2), and poly(caprolactone)‐block‐poly(sulfanlic acid)‐g‐poly(tetrahydrofuran)‐block‐poly(ε‐caprolactone) (PCL‐b‐PSA‐g‐PTHF‐b‐PCL; P3) were tested at different temperatures. This study infers that the cationically charged polymers exhibited excellent percent RH.
