Abstract
The reaction between BiCl 3 and two equivalents of Na[(C 5H 4Me)Fe(CO) 2] affords the title complex, [{(C 5H 4Me)Fe(CO) 2} 2BiCl] 3, containing a planar six-membered Bi 3Cl 3 ring in which each bismuth is bonded to two chlorine atoms and two (C 5H 4Me) Fe(CO) 2 fragments.
