Abstract

Layered calcium phenylphosphate, Ca 2 (OH) (O 2.5 POC 6 H 5 ) 3 , and calcium phenylphosphonate, CaO 0.5 {(HO) 2 OPC 6 H 5 } 2 .2H 2 O, were prepared by combining aqueous ammonia solutions of sodium phenylphosphate and phenylphosphonic acid and of calcium nitrate, respectively. Thermal changes of calcium phenylphosphate and calcium phenylphosphonate were systematically investigated by thermal analysis, X-ray diffraction and IR spectra.
