Abstract

New mixed-ligand heteronuclear complexes of lanthanum and cobalt (nickel) with acetylacetone (НАА) and α,α'-dipyridyl were synthesized and investigated by physic-chemical methods of analysis (elemental analysis, differential thermal analysis, IR and UV–VIS spectroscopy, X-ray powder diffraction). It was established that the obtained complexes have the same composition of the general formula – LаМ(AA)5·2α,α'-dipy, where М - Co, Ni, and 3d-metal ions are in a distorted octahedral environment. It was shown that the complexes have low (∼350 °С) temperatures of decomposition and form cobaltate (nickelate) of lanthanum with good phase uniformity. This method of obtaining complex oxides can significantly reduce the duration and energy consumption of their synthesis (compared to traditional ceramic methods).
