Abstract

The solid structure and diagnostics of dilapacholateaqua (dimethyl chloride) chromium (II) compound were analyzed by X-ray radiations. The crystal shape was analyzed and rectified with 5084 reflections using I39 (I) and strained in accordance with R1-factor of 0.0553 using full least-square matrix. The complex of Cr (II) have CrO6 octahedral arrangement, have two cis coordinated lapacholate anions at adjacent carbonyl [Cr–O bond] oxygens of phenyl group [Cr–O bond], H2O [d (Cr–Ow)] and a dimethylformamide (DMF) [d (Cr–O)] axially arranged. The complex crystal has been analyzed for their physicochemical and spectroscopic parameters.
