Abstract

Abstract Several boron heterocycles of the general formula [H2NCH (R) C (0) 0]B(OH)2 (R = H,-alkyl) have been synthesized by the reaction of an amino acid with boric acid. They have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR and NMR spectra and by converting them to spiro compounds with oxalic acid.
