Abstract
1. For the first time organosilicon compounds were prepared with a thiocyanato or thiol group in the γ-position on with respect to silicon and also with two thiocyanato groups in α-positions. 2. It was shown that tress. organosilicon α- and γ-thiocyanates readily react with RMgX with formation of the corresponding thiols, which proves the structure of the thiocyanates and can form tha basis of a new method of synthesizing organosilicon thiols. 3. It was found that organosiliccn thiols, both the α and the γ compounds readily add to acrylonittile.
