Abstract
The waterborne curing agent was prepared by reaction of isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI), polyethylene glycol single methyl ether(MPEG) and trimethylol propane (TMP). The synthesis process of curing agent were monitored by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, and initial tack, peel strength, heat aging resistance, shear strength, creep resistance of all samples with different curing agent content were measured. The results showed that the curing agent dispersed well as an incorporated state in the waterborne polyurethane. The water and ethanol absorption decreased with increasing curing agent content, the peel strength was significantly increased up to 6.7 N/mm.
