Abstract
1. The following new organosillcon compounds were synthesized; a) 1,3-bis(methacryloyloxymethyl) tetramethyldisiloxane; b) (methacryloyloxymethyl)pentamethyldisiloxane; and c) triethoxy(methacryloyloxymethyl)silane. 2. It was shown that these compounds readily polymerize at 65° in presence of benzoyl peroxide. 3. It was shown that these compounds are able to copolymerize with acrylic and methacrylic esters and with styrene at 65' in presence of benzoyl peroxide with formation of transparent solids.
