Abstract

A simple method for the synthesis of the Ag5Pb2O6 compound in argon atmosphere is suggested. The optimum conditions for the synthesis of the stoichiometric Ag5Pb2O6 compound are determined on the basis of thermogravimetric and DTA data. It is shown that the introduction of strontium ions during synthesis does not considerably change the lattice parameters, crystal structure, electrophysical properties, or thermal stability of the compound.
