Abstract

The first representatives of N,N-disubstituted aminostyryl donor-acceptor chromophores bearing a hydroxytricyanopyrrole (HTCP) acceptor were synthesized. Possibilities for additional modification of their HTCP acceptor at reactive OH and NH fragments were shown. The synthesized compounds showed inverted solvatochromic effect. It was found that the presence of the HTCP fragment in the molecule allowed to tune optical and electrochemical characteristics of the chromophores by a slight modification of the acceptor.
