Abstract

A series of novel 1,3,4-oxadiazole derivatives were synthesized from acetylacetone, hydrazine hydrate by multi-step reactions. Their structures were characterized by 1 H NMR, MS and elemental analyses. The target compounds were evaluated for their fungicidal activities against Corynespora cassiicola, Pseudomonas syringae pv. Lachrymans, Pseudoper- onospora cubensis and Sclerotinia sclerotiorum in vivo, and the results indicated that some of the title compounds displayed excellent fungicidal activities.
