Abstract
Curcumin is a β-diketone constituent of the turmeric obtained from the powdered root of Curcuma longa Linn. This natural product has many biological and pharmacological properties such as antiviral, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antioxidant. In this research and in the first part of the work, pyrazole derivatives were made from the combination of curcumin and hydrazine. Also, pyrazole - oxsazole and pyrazole–thiazole derivatives were prepared from the reaction of semi and thiosemicarbazide with curcumin and phenacyl bromide or Dicarboxylate. In conclusion, the antioxidant activity of synthesized products was investigated, and some showed promising activities. The research results and experimental data were obtained from FT-IR, 1HNMR, and 13CNMR spectroscopies.
