Abstract
The complexes Mn(C 5H 5)(CNR) 3 (R = CH 3, C 6H 5,p-ClC 6H 4, C 6Cl 5) are formed from Mn(C 5H 5)(CO) 3 and excess isocyanide using ultraviolet irradiation. Cyclic voltammetry shows that these complexes undergo two sequential one-electron oxidations.
