Abstract
The complex trans-Pt[Fe(CO) 3(NO)] 2(NCPh) 2 ( 1) has been prepared, and its structure has been determined by X-ray diffraction methods. It is the first example of a structurally characterized mixed trinuclear PtFe complex in which a linear metal chain is present (PtFe 2.657(2) Å).
